Apply for Membership

Every member is vetted. Every event is curated.

You tell us who you are, we confirm your identity, and a reviewer reads your application before anyone meets you at a door. Nothing you write here is public, and nothing is shared outside the review.

How did you hear about CARNALIFE? (optional)

If a specific member invited you, who? (optional)

Tell us about yourself and why you're interested in CARNALIFE.

A few honest sentences are enough. This helps our reviewers get to know you before your interview.

Reference

CARNALIFE asks every applicant for one reference: someone who knows you and can vouch for you. We'll reach out to them directly; you don't need to do anything else once you submit this form.

Health verification

This step isn't ready yet. Once our health-verification privacy policy is finalized, our team will follow up with you directly by email to complete this step. You do not need to do anything here now.

Agreement

By applying, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you understand CARNALIFE is a private membership organization with a real vetting process. You accept that participation in any CARNALIFE event carries inherent physical and emotional risk, and you agree to release CARNALIFE, its staff, and its venues from liability for injuries not caused by gross negligence or intentional harm. You agree to follow CARNALIFE's consent policy at every event.

Checking the box below records your acceptance of version terms-v2 of this agreement, dated today. It lives at carnalife.org/terms, and you will be asked to accept the final version once it is published.

I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and liability waiver above.

I have read and agree to the Code of Conduct.

Identity and records check

Next, you will verify your identity through Stripe: a live photo of a government ID and a selfie, which Stripe compares to confirm the ID is yours. Stripe processes those images, including your facial features, only for this check. CARNALIFE never sees or stores the images. We receive the result, and your legal name and date of birth. A reviewer then uses that name and date of birth to search public sex offender registries and, for Florida, public criminal records, as described on our vetting criteria page.

I consent to identity verification with a selfie through Stripe, and to CARNALIFE searching public records in my legal name as part of vetting.
